The experienced and motivated surgical oncologists at Chirayu Cancer Hospital are highly skilled at removing complex solid tumors. We conduct surgical procedures for a range of cancers affecting different systems. These include the Gastrointestinal system (Esophagus, Stomach, Colon, Rectum, Liver, Pancreas, and biliary tract); Head and Neck Cancer (oral cavity, larynx, pharynx, thyroid, salivary gland, paranasal sinus tumors); Breast Cancer; Lung Cancer; Mediastinal tumors; Bone and Soft Tissue Tumors; Urological Cancers (Urinary Bladder, Kidney, Prostate, and Testis); Gynaecological Cancers (Ovary, Endometrium, Cervix, Vulva); and Pediatric Solid Tumors.
Whenever possible and appropriate, we strive to employ minimally invasive approaches such as laparoscopy and Video Assisted Thoracoscopy. Reconstructive procedures are carried out as needed, including Breast Conservative Therapy and Oncoplastic procedures. For cases of extremity sarcoma, we perform Limb Salvage procedures.
To facilitate chemotherapy administration, we insert Vascular Access Devices like Chemoports and Hickmann Catheters, especially for pediatric and breast cancer patients. We also offer Emergency Oncological services for patients presenting to the Casualty department, as well as those referred from other services. Additionally, we provide intraoperative assistance to other specialties when required.
To ensure streamlined management and follow-up, we maintain separate medical records for each patient within our department.
